Hometown Hockey: Ribbon Cutting for Minnesota Wilderness
The Laurentian Chamber of Commerce was honored to join the Minnesota Wilderness Junior Hockey Team out on the ice for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, January 16, 2026. Now in their second year, the Minnesota Wilderness Junior Hockey Team is bringing some action packed games and fresh energy to the historic Hippodrome in Eveleth.
Leveling Up Young Athletes
Competing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), the Wilderness features talented players ages 16–20 who are dedicated to advancing their game and pursuing the next level of hockey. Their mission is to develop young athletes into the kind of players who can make the jump to the NAHL, USHL, or College hockey. With a focus on skill development, discipline, and team culture, the Minnesota Wilderness Junior Hockey Team provides a pathway for motivated players to grow both on and off the ice.
Thank You for Joining Us!
We extend our congratulations to the Minnesota Wilderness Junior Hockey Team and encourage everyone to stop in and watch a game.
