Kicking Off the Summer with Flaimer's & W.A. Fisher

The June Business Happy Hour at Flaimer’s, co‑hosted with W.A. Fisher, proved that even a dreary day can’t dampen the spirit of our local business community. Despite gray skies and a steady drizzle outside, the atmosphere inside was anything but gloomy. With strong attendance from professionals and community partners, the event was filled with lively conversation, laughter, and meaningful connection.

Leaning into the midweek mood, the gathering embraced a fun “Wienie Wednesday” theme that brought a relaxed, lighthearted twist to the evening. Flaimer’s cozy, welcoming space offered the perfect refuge from the weather, creating an environment where guests could shake off the chill, settle in, and truly enjoy each other’s company.

A highlight of the evening was the sense of pride behind the host venue. Owner Gary Flaim shared his passion for supporting the community, noting how important it is for local businesses to give back and create spaces where people can come together. His enthusiasm and commitment were evident throughout the event, adding an extra layer of meaning to the gathering and reinforcing why events like this matter.

What stood out most was the resilience and enthusiasm of the attendees. The turnout spoke volumes - not just about the appeal of the event, but about the strength and dedication of our local business community. Even on a gray day, people showed up ready to engage, collaborate, and support one another.

The June Business Happy Hour reminded us that it’s not the weather that defines an event—it’s the people. And when partners like Flaimer’s and W.A. Fisher open their doors and invest in the community, even the dreariest day can feel bright.
